Decade Energy and SIREOS have entered into a framework agreement under which SIREOS will manage approximately half of Decade Energy’s initial 100 MW BESS deployment program in France, with the option to expand the partnership as Decade Energy’s project portfolio grows.
SIREOS will handle the Balance of Plant (BoP) required to turn Decade Energy’s battery projects into fully operational assets. Its scope includes detailed engineering, civil and electrical works, equipment installation and integration, construction management, testing, commissioning, and the operation and maintenance of the BESS facilities. The first projects covered by the framework agreement are now moving into the execution phase.
Construction and commissioning will begin as each site reaches its Final Investment Decision (FID). SIREOS was selected following a competitive tender process, based on its BESS expertise, technical and operational capabilities, knowledge of French regulations, and its ability to ensure consistent execution across multiple sites.
Building a network of trusted partners for project delivery is at the heart of Decade Energy’s portfolio strategy. A standardized approach allows the same safety, quality, and performance requirements to be applied to all projects, while tailoring each installation to the specific needs of its site and grid connection.

The framework agreement will support the development of Decade Energy’s French project pipeline as sites enter the construction phase, providing a consistent delivery structure across the portfolio. Together, Decade Energy and SIREOS will combine strong local execution capabilities with a shared approach to safety, quality, and performance across all projects.

The storage assets deployed in this way strengthen Decade Energy’s distributed energy infrastructure in France, providing greater flexibility to the power system and meeting the energy needs associated with large-scale transport electrification.
